Core Values

01

Honesty and Integrity
We are sincere and candid with all individuals we interact with – clients, staff, colleagues, and court staff. We have placed honesty and integrity first, on our list of core values because honesty and integrity are the foundations of our law practice.

02

Quality and Excellent Service

We understand that we are in the business of “people” and take pride in our work. We ensure that you receive a level of service that not only meets your expectations, but exceeds them – that’s the only way we know how to work.

03

Empower our Clients with Knowledge

We want to educate our clients about their legal transaction, so that they can make informed decisions, and be active participants in their file.

Breaking Down Traditional Legal Barriers

Our commitment to service required us to take a hard look at some of the barriers that get in the way of lawyers optimizing the level of service they provide to their clients. We looked at those barriers, and developed innovative ways to dispense with them.

Client-Drive Technology

We have invested in client-driven technology which helps us keep our overhead costs down, so that we pass along our cost savings to our clients.

Online Interactive Forms
One form of client-driven technology our clients interact with are our online forms. Please view the Barrila Online Will Intake Solution located in the Wills and Estates tab.  24 hours a day, 7 days a week our clients can complete the Barrila Law Online Will Intake Solution so that we can get started on their wills and/or powers of attorney.

Environmentally Friendly

At the Barrila Law we respect the environment.

Email Focused
Whenever possible we prefer to scan and email documents as opposed to faxing or mailing them – it’s also another way we keep our costs down.

Paperless
We try to avoid the amount of printing we do, and we understand that our clients may feel the same way.  Accordingly, aside from the traditional method of receiving a print out of a reporting letter, invoice, or correspondence our clients can choose how they wish to receive these documents – electronically via email, burned on a CD/DVD, or uploaded to their USB key.

Keep It Simple - Use Plain English

Unfortunately, when drafting certain legal documents there are certain legal terms of art that we cannot avoid.  However, whenever we communicate with our clients or draft documents on their behalf, we do our best to use simple, clear, and plain English so that our clients can understand the legal documents we have prepared for their use.
